PROCESSORS

There are 2 types of Processors available.. They are,

1. Slot Type
2. Socket Type

Slot Type : -

        - Here we want to fix the Processor in the Slot. Like below,

Socket Type : -

        - Here we have 2 types of Processors. They are, 

1. PGA (Pin Grid Array)
2. LGA (Land Grid Array) 

•  PGA

                -> In this type of Processors, we have a pins under the Processor.. And holes in Processor's board.

• LGA

               -> It is opposite to the PGA type.. We have holes in Processor, pins in the board.. Now, we mostly use this type of processors only.
